farmers are cruel and brutal it should not go to a breeder. it is better to go to human society and request a chinchilla or similar rodents and they will receive another who really need the love and attention you have done a good deed. If you buy from a breeder, you are supporting an industry without any care for the animals. farmers keep animals in tiny, cramped living spaces with that little food as possible and the parents usually never leave their cages. Would you buy from someone like that on your conscience? there are lots of rodents who need home anyway. also, you can try posting on a community newsletter, people often buy cute rodents without thinking how much work they are so easy it is just in your neighborhood to find a cheap (because they are desperate to get rid of it) of animals who needs a home.
